SP Console settings missing when upgrading a re-branded console to or from Sailfish R2

Symptom

When upgrading a re-branded SP Console to or from V7.14.227.8471 (Sailfish), all previously saved SP Connection details are missing or outdated.

Cause

Due to bug #18566 the V7.14.227.8471 Console stored its settings in  
C:\Users\user1\AppData\Roaming\Attix5 Pro\Console\
instead of
C:\Users\user1\AppData\Roaming\Rebrand\Console\ 
(where Rebrand is the brand name)

Solution

This bug has been resolved in Sailfish R2 Update 1. Please follow the following steps to restore the correct settings.xml:

Upgrading a pre-V7.14 SP Console to Sailfish R2 Update 1
No additional steps required as the folder locations stay the same
 

Upgrading from V7.14.227.8471 (Sailfish) to Sailfish R2 Update 1
Upgrade the console and check if all the Storage Platforms addresses are listed as before the upgrade.  If not, follow the settings below

  1. Close the SP Console
  2. Browse to C:\Users\user1\AppData\Roaming\Attix5 Pro\Console
  3. Copy settings.xml
  4. Paste to C:\Users\user1\AppData\Roaming\Rebrand\Console (where Rebrand is the brand name)
  5. Start the SP Console
