The AccountServer has a problem connecting to some or all of the StorageServers or a StorageServer has a problem connecting to the MirrorServer. Normal network tests (ping, using browser to connect) work fine, yet errors are shown.
Typical errors are:
- An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party
- The security timestamp is invalid because its creation time ('2011-05-30T09:21:52.300Z') is in the future
- Current time is '2011-05-30T09:05:38' and allowed clock skew is '00:05:00'
Ensure that the time on ALL servers (AS, SS, MS) are set correctly. Use an Internet time server to keep them in sync.
Servers can be in different time zones, and daylight savings settings can be active, but the underlying time for the servers should be synchronised to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)
. If in any doubt, set the daylight savings and time zones across servers to be the same.
